This year, the EBC Connecticut Chapter and the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE) invite you, your clients, and colleagues to come get your goat on as the Hartford Yard Goats face off against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies!

EBC has reserved space in the Liberty Bank Pavilion at the Yard Goats homefield, Dunkin’ Park in Hartford, CT, for a casual evening outing where you can relax and take in the game while networking with some friendly folks who also work in the environmental and energy industry.

Classic ballpark food and snacks as well as soft drinks are included with each registration.

Arrive as early as 6:30 p.m. to settle in before the game starts at 7:10 p.m. You’re welcome to stay for the full game or come by for just a few hours to cheer on the Yard Goats!

Environmental Data Management is the organized handling of environmental information to support sound decisions and regulatory compliance. Environmental Data is what we base our decisions on. It’s at the core of our businesses, applications, and technical practices. Good data governance practices start before the first pump is lowered down a well or the first auger string breaks ground. Environmental Data Management (EDM) is a complex topic that requires a depth of knowledge and skills from multiple backgrounds, but it doesn’t have to be overly difficult or utilize expensive software to manage and utilize.

This 1 hour presentation will demonstrate some tools and approaches used to set up environmental projects and present some specific examples of how prior planning can prevent poor performance or undesired outcomes later. It will also cover ways to scale your data management and analysis to the job at hand. Large and complex sampling programs benefit from a well-established data management program but what about that one-off job with only a handful of samples.

August 18, 2026 - NJDEP Regulatory Update (Rescheduled) (18 Aug 2026)

The Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE) and NJSWEP are pleased to announce that our incredibly popular keystone event the “NJDEP Regulatory Update” will be held in Trenton this June.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) implements regulations and policies, which frequently evolve as priorities change. This one-day workshop will keep attendees informed about the NJDEP’s priorities and plans, as well as the status of existing programs, updates, and proposed legislative changes that are key to NJDEP programs.

NJDEP Assistant Commissioners from all programs will be present, including Contaminated Site Remediation and Redevelopment (CSRR), Sustainable Waste Management, Watershed and Land Management, Air, Energy, and Materials Sustainability, Water Resources Management, and Community Investment and Economic Revitalization Projects and Funding Opportunities.

Continuing Education Credits:

We received approval from the The New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (“SRPL Board”) for 5.0 LSRP Regulatory Credits = NJSRPLB Course Number 2026-027

New this year: Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits are pending for attorneys who attend the event! It is anticipated that at least 5.6 CLE credits will be granted.

Government Professionals/Students/Academics/Non-Profit Employees who want credits: $25

Food:

Breakfast and drinks are provided. Lunch is not provided at the event. While there is a cafeteria space at the NJDEP, it is recommended that you bring lunch.

Last Day to Register:

Registration and payment must be received by June 17, 2026. Walk-in registrations will NOT be accepted due to NJDEP security requirements.

BCONE is excited to partner with the LSRPA Aspiring Professionals Program to create new opportunities for early-career environmental professionals to learn, connect, and grow.

This unique field-based program will provide practical exposure to soil classification, drilling methods, sampling techniques, and real-world site investigation practices. Registration is complimentary, but space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
