On Wednesday, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), in consultation with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), formally invited the pubic to comment on the proposed remediation plan for the former United Hospital Site, just over the Rye line in Port Chester, across from the Whole Foods.
