Knitting Mills Brownfield Tour and Reception – Wyomissing, PA 

Put on your walking shoes and come out to join fellow BCONE and AIPG members for a fact-filled walking tour of the Knitting Mills Brownfields Redevelopment site located in Wyomissing, PA. The walking tour, led by the site developer along with representatives from PADEP will highlight the massive undertaking of converting the Vanity Fair Outlets into modern offices and retail space. Following the 90-minute tour will be a fun Happy Hour Reception with networking opportunities held at the new location of Sly Fox Taphouse. 

The tour will begin and end at the Sly Fox Taphouse at Knitting Mills. Enjoy the interesting and informative tour of the redeveloped site and explore the details, successes and challenges of the project before being treated to delicious appetizers and craft beers or cocktails at the Sly Fox. You’ll also receive a signature pint glass to take home with you to add to your collection!

Tour Schedule:

Wednesday, October 16th – 2:00 PM -6:00 PM

• 2:00-2:30 – Meet at the Sly Fox Taphouse at The Knitting Mills, 820 Knitting Mills Way. Wyomissing, PA 19610 (www.slyfoxbeer.com/wyomissing)
• 2:30-4:00 – Walking Tour of The Knitting Mills Brownfields Site
• 4:00-6:00 PM – Reception at the Sly Fox

Includes 2 drink tickets for beer, wine, or soda.

Appetizers will be provided.

Includes 1-pint glass per person to take home
