CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — $750,000 in grants for brownfield remediation have been released to four Connecticut cities Wednesday, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

These grants, released during round two of DEEP’s Brownfield Grant Program, will support the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites in four cities in Connecticut. The four sites total approximately 27 acres of land.
