#NSCW2022 Attendees - Extend Your Conference Experience with an Afternoon Tour of Stamford Brownfield Sites

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Location: Meeting Location at Hotel to be Announced at NSCW

Fee: $25 (Includes Lunch at Patisierre Salzburg)

The City of Stamford, especially the historic South End, has seen enormous change and growth in the last few years. As part of the BCONE NSCW, planners Barry Hersh and Jessica Kooris will be leading a two-hour walking tour from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 14.  The tour will leave the conference hotel, Hilton, and walk about a mile to Harbor Point, a two+ Billion Dollar community largely consisting of former brownfield sites.  We'll also see Charter Communications property, the Stamford Train station with its new parking garage, which is currently under-construction, plus historic structures, including a recently completed affordable housing development featuring a restored historic house. There will be an opportunity to extend and tour more parts of the neighborhood and prior to returning to the hotel and train station.

Registration is required and will include lunch at the Patisierre Salzburg in Harbor Point.
